SANGEAN Cares, Yongshun Shares Warmth—PR-D17 Radio Donation Event

In this warm early autumn, the SANGEAN team visited the Yongshun Elderly Care Center, bringing with them a special gift. The highlight of this visit was the donation of a brand new radio, the PR-D17. With its simple design and user-friendly operation, this radio is intended to provide the esteemed residents with enhanced auditory enjoyment and entertainment.

In the afternoon, the SANGEAN team arrived at the care center, warmly welcomed by the staff. The staff introduced SANGEAN to the facilities and services, giving them a deeper understanding of this place filled with care and love: the environment at the care center is quiet and comfortable, providing the elderly with a cozy and peaceful living space.

Following the introduction, the care center staff explained SANGEAN’s visit and introduced SANGEAN to the residents. Mr. Hung, the manager from SANGEAN responsible for this introduction, began by explaining the design concept and features of the radio, demonstrating how to operate it on the spot. The PR-D17 radio features a black exterior with prominent yellow buttons, a design that not only stands out visually but also makes operation more convenient for the elderly. Each button is meticulously designed to provide good tactile feedback, ensuring that seniors can use it with ease.

A key feature of this radio is its support for voice prompts in both Mandarin and Taiwanese. Mr. Hung demonstrated to the residents how to use the radio; the voice prompts help them understand the function of each button, such as adjusting the volume and selecting channels. This thoughtful design caters to the needs of the elderly, making it easy for them to operate. Additionally, the radio includes both AM and FM bands and offers ten memory presets, allowing residents to easily store and access their favorite stations without the hassle of complex settings.

Mr. Hung engaged warmly with the residents, patiently answering their questions about the radio’s features. During the hands-on trial, the residents showed great interest and satisfaction with the radio. They expressed that this radio not only is easy to operate but also makes listening to broadcasts convenient, enriching and enlivening their daily lives.

At the end of the event, our team distributed the radios to each resident, hoping they would enjoy this small gesture of kindness. The residents, receiving the radios with smiles on their faces, felt the care and warmth from the company. This event not only made us feel the friendliness of the community but also strengthened our commitment to fulfilling our corporate social responsibility.
